The Greedy BWO

Description

This pattern was developed to imitate the plentiful small BWO nymphs that frequent the driftless. The micro tubing portrays a semi translucent, segmented body, and the buggy look the clipped biot wing bud gives the finishing touches. This little fly is a great pattern for nymphing in the colder months when the Blue Winged Olives are active.
